With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Scott Amburgey of Lexington, Kentucky, born in Hazard, Kentucky, who passed away on October 7, 2020 at the age of 47. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father James Ewin Amburgey. He is survived by: his mother Betty Lou Nickles; his children, Tiara Grace Amburgey, Peggy Couch, Jason Owsley and Cody Combs; his stepchildren, Samantha Campbell and Tanner Slone; his stepgrandchildren, Aubrey, Aiden and Abel; his brother Eddie Amburgey; and his nephew Eric Amburgey.

Family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to help with funeral expenses.
