In loving memory of James Perry Sr. of Lexington, Kentucky, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who departed this world on July 22, 2024 at the age of 75. James leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sampson Perry and Juanita Perry Sr. (Rocquemore); his grandparents, John and Leila Rocquemore; his brothers, Sampson Perry Jr. and Theodore Perry; his son Mario Scott; and his nephew Rashad Childs.

He is survived by: his wife Reta Perry; his children, Jacquetta Perry (Charlie), James Perry Jr. (Kandi) and Malcolm Perry (Angelia); and his sister Arnita M. Pitts. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
