He is survived by: his children, James L. Newman and Heather Lynn Evans; his grandchildren, Samantha Jo, Amanda Grace and Ryan James Evans; and his sisters, Betty Stevens (Steve) and Fredia Oliver (Roger). He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and friends.
