He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charlene Thomasson and James L. Nicholson Jr. As; his children, Nancy Jones of Madison, Ala, James Nicholson IV (Jimmy) of Auburn, Ala, Ann Burney (Annie) of Columbus and John Nicholson (Jack) of Lexington; and his stepson Richard Lowe of Richmond, Kentucky.. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren.
