It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James L. Baumgardner (Lexington, Kentucky), born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on September 25, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Baschel and Pearl Jo Roberts Baumgardner; and his siblings, Kenneth Baumgardner and Norma Jones. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Baumgardner (Lisa), Kristi B. Almgren (Fred) and Katie B. Ruxer (Tommy); his grandchildren, Casen Baumgardner (Maggie Noelle), Katelyn Baumgardner, Chase Almgren (Dana), Kendall Almgren, Maddie Ruxer and Oakland Ruxer; his great grandchild Evelyn Baumgardner; and his sister Geraldine Isaac.
