With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Henry Ensminger of Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on February 12, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Sr. Ensminger and Mary Magee Ensminger. He is survived by: his children, Jane L. Ensminger of Nicholasville and Jamie V. Ensminger (Heather) of Lexington; his pet Toby; his grandchildren, Shire Craig (Jesse), Mikeh Miller (Landon), Mackenzie and Easton Ensminger; and his siblings, Jane Ensminger, Joan E. Combs (Jack) and John David Ensminger. He is also survived by Two great granddaughters, nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jim's name directly to the following nonprofits: Bluegrass Care Navigators/ Hospice of the Bluegrass 1733 Harrodsburg Road, Lexington, KY 40504 Paws 4 the Cause.
