James Haden Morris Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Haden Morris of Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on December 26, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his children, Sally Elizabeth, Theresa, Larry Joe and Daniel; his parents, Alfred Morris and Ogie Morris; his brothers, Vinyard, Dale and Joe; and his brothers-in-law, Don Taylor and Phil Fugate.
He is survived by: his spouse Gaynelle Vance Morris; his son Jimmy Dean Morris; his daughter-in-law Paula Morris; his daughter Lydia Berry; his son-in-law Daniel Berry; his grandchildren, Popsie, Tabitha Morris Nicholas, Nicole Morris Turner, Danielle Newberry and Matthew Newberry; and his great grandchildren, Jacob, Erica Ruffcorn, Sam Ruffcorn, Gavin and Spencer Nicolas.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to South Elkhorn Christian Church or Thompson Hood Veterans Center.
