He was predeceased by: his father John Henry Polly; and his siblings, Beryl Polly and Jeri Blair (Jack). He is survived by: his grandmother Combs Polly; his sons, Bruce D. Polly (Lynne) and Rodney G. Polly (Leslie); his grandchildren, James B. Polly (Carrie), Emily A. Deaton (Jeffrey) and Kennon C. Polly; his great grandchildren, Abigail M. Deaton and Sam A. Polly; his siblings, Norma Collins and Ralph Polly (Wilma); his sister-in-law Willie Mae Polly; and his daughter-in-law Patricia Polly. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations are requested to The Methodist Home of KY, P.O Box 930, Nicholasville, KY, 40340.
