We are sad to announce that on June 14, 2023, at the age of 89, James Florence Jr. (Lexington, Kentucky) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Kayleen D. Florence; his parents, James H. Florence and Frances M. Florence; his sister Joyce M. Florence; and his stepson Jeffrey S. Gieringer.

He is survived by: his wife Wilda L. Florence; his children, Dayna Lykins (David), Jay Gieringer (Carol), Stephanie Adams (Anthony), Jim Florence (Brandon Cress) and Julie Knight (Thomas); and his sister Patricia J. Florence. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
