He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" and Sarah Jane Lemons Cooper; and his siblings, Charlie Cooper, Teresa Jolly, Kathy Cooper and Tammy Lewis.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Cooper; his daughter Stephanie Perry (Scott) of Versailles; his brother Willie Cooper (Brenda) of Winchester; and his grandchildren, Cody Herring, Hailey Perry and Kaden Perry. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
