He was predeceased by: his mother Barbara Dotson Allen; his sister-in-law Loree G. Allen; his father-in-law Birchell Duff; and his nephew Jim Doug Charles. He is survived by: his wife Shelia Duff Allen; his father David Allen; his children, Caitlin Brooke Allen and James Corey Allen (Sarah); his brother David D. Allen II; his mother-in-law Patricia Duff; his siblings-in-law, Sandy Hackett (Greg) and Todd Duff (Twilia); his nieces and nephews, Lauren Jarrell (Seth), Hollie Charles, David D. Allen III, Drew P. Allen, Jake Duff and Jordan Charles (Jessica); and his great-niece Caroline Jarrell.

The family graciously requests masks and proper social distancing.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Porter Memorial Baptist Church.
