He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Harrison Dawkins and Mary Catherine Saunders Dawkins. He is survived by: his wife Jolene Dawkins; his daughters, Kristin Thompson (Rich) and Kelly Hawthorne (Patrick); his grandchildren, Lilly Hawthorne, Harrison Hawthorne, Woods Thompson and Riggins Thompson; his sister-in-law Lynna Porter (April Bock) of Lexington; and his mother-in-law Bernita Porter of Flemingsburg.
