It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James C. Spalding (Lexington, Kentucky), who passed away on December 25, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Doris French; his children, Jim, John and Suzanne; his sister Joyce Leverett; and his nieces, Martha Edwards and Cathy Barton. He is also survived by his six grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations in memory of James C. Spalding may be made to Sunrise of Kentucky, Kentucky's largest non-profit provider of services for children in crisis.
