It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Lynch Mauney of Lexington, Kentucky, born in Corbin, Kentucky, who passed away on July 24, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Paul H. Mauney; her parents, John Lynch and Hester Lay Lynch; her son Brian Mauney; and her siblings, Jerry Herb, James Lynch and Paul Lynch.

She is survived by: her daughter Dee Cox of Lexington; her daughter-in-law Tammy Watts Mauney; her grandchildren, Zack Cox (Kasi), Kristen Cox, Lacey Morton (Ron), Lexi Watts, Jeremy Mauney (Aya) and Josh Mauney (Valerie); and her great grandchildren, Tristyn Cox, Karsyn Cox, Jayden Morton, Jayce Morton, Lydia Mauney, Lyoto Mauney and Malachi Mauney.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Bluegrass Care Navigators.
