Irene Bottom Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Bottom of Lexington, Kentucky, born in Harrodsburg, Kentucky, who passed away on April 1, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Gilbert "Bruce" Bottom; her parents, Garfield Freeman and Effie Teater Freeman of Harrodsburg; her daughter Lisa "Mickey" Miller; and her sister Anne.

She is survived by: her daughter Terri Clark of Flemingsburg; her grandchildren, Courtney Becknell (Bryan), Chip Clark (Kayla), Cole Clark (Robbie), Mackenzie Frankenburger (Matt), Morgan Miller, Landon Miller (Mikeh), Kennedy Miller, Konner Miller and Kaden Miller; her great grandchildren, Ella and Molly Becknell; her grandchildren, Emery, Stetson, Lainey Clark, Colbie Clark, Stone Dunaway, Braxton, Cason, Finley, Knox Frankenburger, Jhett Hayden, Logan, Lexton, Lucy Miller and Jaxson Sewell; her niece Melinda Reister (Bobby); and her nephew Mitch Cocanougher (Sherry). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

“We were saddened to learn of the passing of Irene, our deepest sympathies. When I saw her in the hospital, I knew she was in alot of pain. She was a kind sweet lady, & we will miss seeing & talking to her at church. Our prayers are with the family during this difficult time. Larry & Brenda Critchfield”
