She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolf Brunkhorst and Inge Brunkhorst (Meynhardt); her parents-in-law, Ted and Margaret Griffiths; and her sister-in-law Margaret "Margi" Griffiths.
She is survived by: her husband Tom Griffiths of Lexington; her children, David Griffiths (Stephanie) of Lexington and Ruth Rafeld (Mark); her granddaughters, Molly Rafeld (Ben Kimmel) of Worthington and Emily McClain (Caleb) of Mansfield; her great grandchildren, Jacob McClain and Nora McClain; and also Barbara Penno.
