We bid farewell to Homer Draughn of Lexington, Kentucky, born in Leburn, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 22, 2024. Homer touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Bessie Conley Draughn; his parents, Leslie Draughn and Ruie Maggard Draughn; and his siblings, Shelby, Delmar, Clara Evelyn Draughn, Gertrude Horne and Irene.

He is survived by: his son Willis Conley Draughn (Shirley); his granddaughter Amanda N Draughn; and his sisters, Norma Sloan and Jean Smith (Fred).

In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Hollie Conley Scholarship Fund at Alice Lloyd College.

Since they left Imperial Terrace there has been a void, but their memory will never leave those of us who had the privilege of knowing them. We take joy in knowing that they are together again.
