She was predeceased by: her spouse Cecil McCoige; her parents, Alfred Sharp and Esta Bell Sharp; her siblings, Irene Bowen of Lake City, TN, Ada Brooks Wilson of Clinton, TN and Hubert Sharp of Lake City, TN; and her grandson Christopher Clifton of Frankfort.

She is survived by: her sister Sue Sharp of Lexington; her children, Joan Clifton of Owenton and Hal McCoig of Lexington; and her grandsons, Chad McCoig of Lexington and Cameron McCoig of Louisville.
