She was predeceased by: her parents, Eliza Scott and Anthony Scott Sr.; and her sister Kay Dabney. She is survived by: her daughter Dr. Cara-Lynn Helm (Michael Richardson); her granddaughter Avery; and her siblings, Paulette Agbenu (Noel) and Anthony Scott Jr..
