It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hays Lincoln Cowley Jr. (Lexington, Kentucky), who passed away on July 15, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Hays Lincoln Cowley, Sr.; his son Michael Thomas "Tom" Cowley; his sister Jane McKevitt; and his foster sister Doris Blackham. He is survived by: his son Joseph A. "Joe" Cowley (Judy); his daughter-in-law Myralee Cowley; his grandchildren, Lauren Alexandra Fitch (Clayton), Tamara Cowley, Travis Alan Cowley (Jen) and Dr. Stuart Cowley (Holly); his great grandchildren, Pierce and Harrison Cowley; his nephew Michael; and his nieces, Carla and Janet.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Hays' memory to the Alzheimer's Association of Greater KY and Southern IN, 6100 Dutchmans Ln, Ste 401, Louisville, KY 40205.
