He was predeceased by: his parents, Harriet Sterling and John Sterling; his parents-in-law, Glenn, Eva "Kay" Mohr Ehret and Grant Ehret; and his brother-in-law Daniel Mohr.
He is survived by: his family, Interstate, MetroLink, Mid-America Airport and Frank Scott Parkway; his wife Glenda Sterling; his children, Melissa Ann Sterling, Harry John Sterling, Jr. (Michelle Allen) and Zachary Mohr Sterling (Alyssa Iwinski); his granddaughters, Mollyanna Sterling Keim and Zoe Allen-Sterling; the mothers of children, Melissa and Carol Sterling; his siblings-in-law, John and Patricia Balkonis (Mohr); and his siblings, Charlie Sterling (Judy), Laura Pickerel (Paul) and Mike Sterling (Betty). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
