He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Marcum and Ruth Tevis Marcum; and his siblings, Charles Evans Marcum, Imogene Montgomery, Lewis Dean Marcum and Harbor Marcum.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Vance Marcum; his daughters, Roxanne York (John), Donna Marcum, Karen Jacobs and Jill Rankin (Scottie); and his grandchildren, Brittany Gross (Matt), Alex York (Christina), Wendy Lewis (Jeremiah), Taylor Morefield (Adam), Embry Jacobs, Drew Jacobs (Taylor), Tyler Royse, Wesley Long and Paige Rankin. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
