He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie Smith and William Griffin, Sr. (Peaches); his daughter Brigette Griffin; his brothers, William Griffin, Jr. and David Griffin; his mother-in-law Dorothy Buckner; his sister-in-law Sue Griffin; and his daughter-in-law Hollie Griffin.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy J. Griffin; his children, Tammi Griffin, Kimberly Griffin, Sonja Griffin, Anthony Griffin and Harold Griffin, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Shaneka, Robert, Antoine, Keisha, LaKara, Terry Jr., Centonia, Tenaya, Trequan, Dionte', Shaye, De'Marion, Kendrick, Daivion, Bria and A'Miya. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, step grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren.
