He was predeceased by: his father Newton Meade. He is survived by: his wife Janet Carol Harmon; his children, Dr. Phillip Meade (Shelby) and Kristen Hughes (Jeff); his grandchildren, Brooklyn, Christopher, Jared, Lucas and Madelyn; and his sister Eunice Seals.
