It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Dean Huffer (Lexington, Kentucky), who passed away on October 28, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecile Byrd and Archie Woodrow Huffer; and his brother Woody Lee. He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue; his children, Zach, Marita Gabbard (Greg) and Linda Denny (Mike); his grandchildren, Chris, Ethan, Hunter Gabbard, Matthew Denny (Kiley), Ashley Dorgan (Josh), Jessica Cheek (Cash) and Olivia Denny; his great grandchildren, Henry, Jack, Archie, Vivian Cecile Dorgan, Spencer, Peyton and Charlotte Cheek; his nieces and nephews, Karen Fryman of Indiana, Lisa Webster of Indiana and Shannon Richards of Indiana; his friends, Larry Dunn and Dave Robertson; his mother-in-law Donna Gensheimer; and his siblings-in-law, Lisa Horowitz (Joel) and John Gensheimer. He is also survived by numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in law, nieces, nephews.
