Gladys Imogene Layne Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 16, 2021, at the age of 93, Gladys Imogene Layne of Lexington, Kentucky, born in Stevenson, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Layne and Rowena Layne (Norris); her siblings, Elige "Buddy" Layne (Easter), Dewey Lee Layne, Mary Catherine Brock Howard (Layne) and William "Butch" Layne; and her children, Hubert Leroy Miller and Brenda Carol Brock.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Lewis "Sonny" Miller (Judy) of Speedwell, TN, Rowena Joyce "Jody" Glenn (Steve) of Sealy, TX, Homer Eugene, Katherine and Berry (Larry) of Lexington, KY.; her grandchildren, Miranda Adams (Tyler), Tamara Smith (Adam), Sharyce Newby (Patrick), Stephen Beason (Meghan), Daniel Beason (Hazel), Dessa Berry, Crystal Witt (Brandon), Linda Miller, Bertha Miller, Michael Brock (Kristy), Ricky Brock (Shanna), Katherine Foister, Nivajo Garvin, Tim Pawlowski, Dustin Pawlowski and Adam Pawlowski; her cousin Nellie Ducker of Signal Mountain, TN; and also John Henry. She is also survived by many Nieces, Nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
