It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Matthew Hill of Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on December 22, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hill and Celia Hill; his wife Lek Hill; his grandparents, John and Sallie Hill; his siblings, John, Esther, Ruth, Charles and Rebecca; and his grandson Clyde Matthew Carr.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dorothy Price, Donna Smith and Ladda "April" Hill (James Y.); his granddaughters, Victoria Hill, Chavae Mock (Melvin), Veonca Hill (Austin) and Jayla Hill Young; his great grandchildren, Sierra, Ashley, Talyr, Makhalia, Alissa, Maia, Malik, Marcello and Dezeray; and his brother James Hill. He is also survived by granddaughters and two bonus great-grandsons; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and many, many friends.
