He is survived by: his children, Jakob Elste (Nadia Martinez) of San Antonio, TX, Ariann Elste (Weston Casey) of Lexington, Hannah Conn of Bowling Green, Kylie Elste (Austin Webb), Brooklyn Elste, Georgia Elste and Charlotte 'Ally Elste of Prestonsburg; his grandchildren, Izavella, Mateo Elste and Luna Casey of Lexington; his sister Martha Elste Jones (John) of Lenore, WV; his son Kenneth Wood (Julie Hayes) of Lenore, WV; and his grandchildren, Austin and Caiden.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Lung Society, Cancer Society or Shriners' Children Hospital.
