He is survived by: his wife Karla Lahde (Patterson); his children, Gary Lahde of Smyrna, Kyle Lahde of Lexington, Karen Lahde of Bryan, Michelle Bennett of New York and Shannon Gaines of Lexington, Kentucky.; his grandchildren, Nick, Miranda, Tynlee, Tanner, Oliver and Audrey; his brother Frank Lahde of Roseville; and his cousin Brigitte Zurek (Puppa) of Berlin, Germany..
In honor of his legacy, memorial donations may be directed to Broadway United Methodist Church in Paducah, Kentucky.
