He was predeceased by: his parents, Rollie B. Carroll and Catherine Trimble; and his daughter Paula Kelton. He is survived by: his daughters, Valerie Robinson (Jeff), Desiree Stoess (Ray, Jr.) and Christy Madej (Mark) of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Zach Carroll, Sarah, Rachel Robinson, Grace, Caroline, Reed, Eleanore Stoess, Louisa, Jack Madej, Ryan and Emily Kelton; his son-in-law Tony Kelton; and his siblings, Anne Reynolds, Rollie and David Carroll. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, gifts can be made to Rosemont Baptist Church, 556 Rosemont Garden, Lexington, KY 40503.
