She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Fain Otis and Eunice Raye Roberts Otis; her children, Scott Ackerman (Jaime Carpenter) and Teresa Whalen (Jerry Johnson); her sister Marilyn Sayre (Gordon); her niece Michelle Van Outer (Lyle); her nephew Rob Sayre (Aimee); and her great-nieces, Ella Sayre, Sophia Van Outer and Avery Sayre.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Sayre Christian Village, 3775 Belleau Wood Dr, Lexington, KY 40517.
