Gayle Harris Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gayle Harris (Lexington, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 7, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Gayle farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Gayle is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Earnest "Bud" Harris Jr.; and her parents, Louis P. Bohrman and Joanna A. Highland Bohrman. She is survived by: her sons, Charles Churchman Jr., Ted Churchman and David Earnest Harris; her brother Albert Phillip Bohrman; and her grandchildren, Richard Wesley Churchman and Chastity Pumphrey.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Beaumont Presbyterian Church (1070 Lane Allen Rd, Lexington, KY 40504). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Sanders Brown Center for Alzheimer's research in memory of Gayle Harris.
