It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary Russell Paxton in Lexington, Kentucky, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on August 16, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Ginger Lynn Blevins Paxton; his parents, J. Vernon Paxton and Marion Fuller Paxton; and his son Brian V. Paxton. He is survived by: his friends, Skip Seltman and Pete Eisele; his son Gregory R. Paxton; his brother Jay Paxton; and his siblings-in-law, Audrey Blevins, Ruth Moran (Frank), Billy Blevins and Frank Blevins (Cheryl). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and countless friends.
