It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fredrick James Kerestesy of Lexington, Kentucky, born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 17, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Fredrick may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Fredrick touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Kerestesy and Theresa Komisar Kerestesy. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his stepson Justin Barnett (Angel); his sisters, Marie of Johnstown, PA and Evelyn Rolley (Frank) of Johnstown, PA; and his grandchildren, Jesse Graham Barnett and Jalyn Crum (Juel) of Lexington, KY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
