He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Osburg (Lexington) and Naomi of Newport, KY; and his siblings, Margie Whitehead, Jim Osburg, Trudy Smith, Fred Osburg and Ted Weiner.

He is survived by: his sisters, Sister Claire Osburg C. D. P. and Pearl Leonard (Neil); and his siblings-in-law, Judy Osburg, Jean Osburg and Steve Smith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Catholic Church (501 W Short St, Lexington, KY 40507). A Mass was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Priest Retirement Fund for the Diocese of Lexington.
