With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Irene Wright of Lexington, Kentucky, born in Whitesburg, Kentucky, who passed away on November 13, 2023 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Wayne Wright and Annabelle Goodman Wright. She is survived by: her siblings, Roe Wright of Whitesburg, KY, Diane Wright of Lexington, KY and Tim Wright of Whitesburg, KY.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to the Lexington Humane Society in Frances' memory.

“Frances was a very dear friend to me during our college days, and for years after. I am greatly saddened by the news of her passing. She visited me once when my parents lived in Texas, and I visited her and her family in Lexington once. She and I both lived in the Atlanta area at one time, and I have missed her here.
