She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick H. Wilson and Edith Corbin Wilson; her siblings, Harold, Frederick Wilson and Audrey Stagges; and her sons-in-law, Sonny McClanahan and Charles Gatson.

She is survived by: her children, James Edward Pleasant, Jr. (Carla), Margaret "Peggy" McClanahan, Catherine Gatson and Elizabeth Ann Leslie (Michael); and her grandchildren, David Pruitt, Cindy Coleman, Patrick, Justin Leslie, Jerry McClanahan and Ryan Pleasant.

In lieu of flowers, donations encouraged to the Building Fund at MQHR.
