It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence Mooney in Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on September 11, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Archer Grey Mooney; her parents, Curt Barker and Lila Barker; and her children, Sandy Nelson and James Mooney.
She is survived by: her sons, Art Wayne Mooney (Sylvia) of Jackson, TN and Jason Mooney of Cincinnati, OH; her siblings, Elsie Watson and Colby Barker of Ft. Wayne, IN; and her grandsons, Shawn Cecil and Christian Nelson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
