It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Fern Derrickson Dalton of Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on April 4, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Algin Derrickson and Pearl Derrickson; her son Jimmy Dalton; the father of her children James Earl Dalton; and her siblings, JB, John, Forrest (Junior Derrickson), Ruby Little, Maxine Means and Marie Krupp.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Dalton Francis of Lexington and Tracy Dalton Fletcher (Frank) of Jackson; her grandson Allen Fletcher of Lexington; and her brother Dr. Charles Derrickson of Morehead, KY.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be sent to either the First United Methodist Church of Jackson or Southern Hills United Methodist Church.
