He was predeceased by: his father Richard Felix Gorney; and his son Benjamin Robert Gorney. He is survived by: his mother Mary Ann Gorney (Koralewski); his mother-in-law Laurel; his children, Mariah Richardson (Travis), Gabriele Gorney, William Gorney and James Gorney; his grandson Justin Richardson; and his siblings, Michaelene Gorney (Ed Trafford), Carol Gorney, Sue Gorney-Welch (Dan), Cindy Bailey, Terri Gorney (Wit), Joseph Gorney (Anne), Fred Gorney (Pam), Steve Gorney, Ann Marie Gorney (Toni Felter) and Daniel Gorney (Janet).
Mass will follow at 11:00 am.Rick will be interred at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens in Fishers, Indiana next to his son Benjamin.In honor of his legacy, Rick's family would like memorial donations directed to the Guadalupe Chapel c/o Christ the King, 299 Colony Blvd., Lexington, KY 40502 or Catholic Action Center, 1055 Industry Road, Lexington, KY 40505.
