She is survived by: her former spouse Wm "Sonny" Sammons of Hazard, KY.; her husband Michael Whitley; her daughter Sharon Sammons Carter; her stepchildren, Christopher T Whitley (Melissa), LeAnn W McFarland (Rick) and Michael W Whitley (Jacqueline); her stepgrandchildren, Leigh Taylor Phillips (Sean Malahy), John B Phillips, Jacob Phillips, Isidora Malahy and Gustavo Malahy; her sisters-in-law, Judie Whitley Overstreet, Marjorie Whitley Henry and Carole S. Whitley; her siblings, Penny Janet Fugate and Bobby Haney (Sharon); her uncle Bill Walters (Madge); her cousins, Brenda Carol Walters, Michael Walters (Judy) and Jaun Walters (Linda); and her caregivers, Donna Dean, Sarah Newton and Rebecca Slone.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that in memory of Faye donations be considered for Lexington Humane Society.
