Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Evelyn Hammons Buchanan (Lexington, Kentucky), who passed away at the age of 94, on May 31, 2023. She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Hammons and Nancy Hammons; and her husband George W. "Jack" Buchanan. She is survived by: her children, David Buchanan (Anita) of Louisville, Beverly Buchanan (Dan Cummins) of Lexington and Lindsay Buchanan (Judith) of West Chester, Ohio.; her granddaughter Eleanor Buchanan of Indianapolis; and her brother Fred Hammons (Betty) of La Grange. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to Sayre Village, Bluegrass Care Navigators or Berea College.
