She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Hammons and Nancy Hammons; and her husband George W. "Jack" Buchanan. She is survived by: her children, David Buchanan (Anita) of Louisville, Beverly Buchanan (Dan Cummins) of Lexington and Lindsay Buchanan (Judith) of West Chester, Ohio.; her granddaughter Eleanor Buchanan of Indianapolis; and her brother Fred Hammons (Betty) of La Grange. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
