It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evalena Hanshaw of Lexington, Kentucky, born in Olive Hill, Kentucky, who passed away on November 24, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie S. Sparks and Martha Haywood Sparks; her husband Rev. William Clayton Hanshaw, Sr.; her son Rev. William C. Hanshaw, Jr.; and her brothers, Larry Sparks, Eddie Sparks, Jr. (Teeter), Elwood Sparks, Hiram Sparks and Gary Sparks.

She is survived by: her sons, Von Hanshaw of Owingsville and Howard (Amy Hanshaw); her grandchildren, Timothy A. Hanshaw, Crystal Eve Hanshaw Judd, John C. Hanshaw, Jacob B. Hanshaw and Addyson E. Hanshaw; and her great grandchildren, J. T. Judd and Nevaeh Judd.
