Ethel Locke Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Locke of Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on January 9, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Young and Malcolm Young; her husband Milton David Locke; her siblings, Horace Young, John Young, Sr., Issac Johnson, Dee Anna Peterson and Blanche Marshall; and her nieces, Sandra Louise Parrish (Ed Lee) and Ethel.
She is survived by: her aunt Mae (Jesus); her nieces, Dr. Bishop Pat Mckinstry, Charlene Jab (Bill) of Washington, Tisa Baker (Wayne), Blanche Anderson (Henry), Irene Young, Geraldine Cobb (Robert), Bernett Moore, Mary Lewis, Sissy, Baebae and Bootsy; her nephew Stanley Lewis James, Jr.; her stepgrandchildren, Verkisha and Henika Searight; her nephew Okie Young; and her sister-in-law Vera Denese Locke Johnson.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Horace Young, John Young, Sr., and Issac Johnson; two sisters, Dee Anna Peterson and her dearest tight-knit sister Blanche Marshall, who passed on Feburary 21, 2021, due to Covid complications.
