He was predeceased by: his parents, Eduard Renz and Olga Renz (Renz); and his siblings, Albert, Edwin, Arnold, Edmund, Ewald Renz, Herta, Hedwig, Hildegard, Edith and Erika Renz.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Joetta Renz (Cornett); his children, Deborah Motter (Rick) of Mansfield, Russ Renz of Lexington, Eric Renz (Kim) of Front Royal, VA and Randy Renz (Kelley) of Mansfield; his grandchildren, Benjamin Motter, Mark Motter (Courtney), Aaron Renz (Annie), Amberly Renz, Brandon Renz and Kristen Renz; his great grandchildren, Thatcher, Boone, Piper Motter, Kendyll, Alex, Jackson, Kaden and Lincoln Renz; his brother Horst Renz (Young Ae); and his siblings-in-law, James Cornett (Nancy), Rosie Renz of Chicago and Virginia Renz of Shelby. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
