She was predeceased by: her husband Cecil Forest Gaines; her parents, Robert Lee and Anna Monson Logdon; her sisters, Frances Roberts, Helen Westerfield, Billie Cox and Bobbie Coomer; and her son-in-law David Sutherland.
She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Sutherland and Sharon Richert (Bryan); and her grandchildren, Daniel Richert (Shelby), Emily McBride (Ian), Lauren Sutherland (Elaine), Clay Sutherland and Hannah Sutherland (Brad). She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
