He was predeceased by: his parents, Ersel Smith and Violety Clem Smith; and his brothers, Ray and Gene. He is survived by: his children, Ricky Smith (Deborah), Dean Smith (Naomi), Missie Smith and Angela Cope (Rodney); and his close friend Nancy Ransdell. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
