He is survived by: his wife Mille Morehead; his children, Kerri Flynn (Tom) and Kevin Morehead (Eddie); his grandsons, Chris Odson (Anna) and Jacob Odson (Grace); and his sister Evelyn Wilcox (Darrel). He is also survived by many nieces nephews.

Memorial donations in honor of Elmer may be made to Pathways Hospice.
