We are sad to announce that on February 3, 2025, at the age of 68, Ella Marie Young in Lexington, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Howard and Eva Louise Miles Allen; and her siblings, Gary, Bobby, Walter, James, Melvin Allen, Ann Young and Mary Young.
She is survived by: her sons, James Young of Nicholasville and Leon Young (Shelly) of Harrodsburg; her former husband James Marion Young of Danville; her sisters, Kay Jackson of Indianapolis, Karen Allen of Tennessee, Carolyn Adams of Arizona, Teri Allen of Louisville and Vanessa Allen of Louisville; her grandchildren, Damyan Young, Tariq Young, Devon Calhoun, Malik Faulkner and Kyrell Young; and her great grandchild Natalia Faulkner. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home (304 E Lexington St, Harrodsburg, KY 40330). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
