Eleanor E. Grayson Obituary
Eleanor E. Grayson, 92, of Lexington, widow of Willard "Ray" Grayson, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at St. Joseph Hospital. Born June 7, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Robert and Eleanor Willie McFadden. She was a secretary for Arctic Air for 50 years that she started with her husband, worked for the U.S. Air Force as a secretary, attended Maxwell Street Presbyterian church. She is survived by two daughters, Evelyn (Harold) Kendall of Erie, PA and Joyce Payne of Louisville, KY; two sons, Kenneth (Cindy) Grayson of Little Rock, KY and Keith Grayson of Lexington; a brother, James McFadden of New York; a sister, Elizabeth (Richard) Enders of Milford, CT; sister-in-law, Ann McFadden of New York; grandchildren are Benjamin Kendall of Erie, PA, Amy (Jonathan) Kenney of Virginia Beach, VA, Katie Payne of Louisville, KY, Hollin and Kelsey Grayson of Little Rock, KY; great grandchildren are Lucas Kendall, Isabelle, Scarlett and Harrison Kenney;. She is preceded in death by a brother, Robert McFadden and a sister-in-law, Joan McFadden. Services will be held at 10:30 Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Kerr Brothers – Harrodsburg Road. Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Battle Grove Cemetery in Cynthiana, KY.
